Are your teeth getting the minerals they need?

We all know that ensuring your body gets the right nutrients and minerals is essential for good health.  But what minerals do our teeth need in particular?Fluoride is the one we all know about, but there are also other beneficial minerals – calcium and phosphate. The saliva in our mouth helps provide essential minerals that strengthen your teeth and protect the enamel, but there are certain activities that cause an acid imbalance making it difficult to produce saliva and the essential protective minerals.

What’s the solution?

TOOTH MOUSSE….designed here in Australia is a topical cream, rich in calcium and phosphate. It can be used for:

• Stabilising the initial stages of decay as long as we continue to practice our daily oral hygiene routine. This includes keeping up with regular tooth-brushing and flossing, and maintaining a healthy and balanced diet”.
• Adding extra protection for newly erupting permanent/adult teeth, patients with braces and expecting mums during pregnancy (especially if morning sickness and reflux is experienced).
Tooth mousse is derived from milk casein and therefore is perfectly safe to swallow. It is, however, not recommended for patients with a milk protein allergy.

• Use your tongue to spread the mousse evenly throughout your mouth.

• Leave the mousse on for a minimum of 3 minutes to allow the calcium and phosphate to penetrate the enamel.

• Spit out any excess mousse but avoid rinsing your mouth.

• Do not eat, drink, or rinse for at least 30 minutes after application to ensure the mousse has time to bond with your teeth.

• Best time to use is nightly after brushing and flossing, but it can be used at other times, such as after professional cleaning or teeth whitening.

OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

Tooth Mousse does not replace the function of a fluoride toothpaste and should be applied after tooth brushing on clean teeth!

Calcium and phosphate are the building blocks of our teeth and bones, and the answer to getting the most out of these minerals is best found in nature: cow’s milk is recognised as the most effective way of delivering calcium and phosphate to where we need protection most.

RECALDENT is a unique ingredient containing the naturally occurring protein found in cow’s milk and is exported worldwide and used in various foods and dental products.

The active ingredients of soluble RECALDENT in GC Tooth Mousse and incorporated fluoride in GC Tooth Mousse Plus offer extra protection for your teeth.

• Tooth Mousse is gluten free.
• The active ingredient in Tooth Mousse (RECALDENT (CPP-ACP)), is the protein derived from cow’s milk. Therefore, Tooth Mousse is not a vegan product.
• Tooth Mousse contain RECALDENT (CPP-ACP), a cow’s milk-derived protein. While no measurable level of lactose can be detected in RECALDENT (CPP-ACP), there is still the possibility a trace amount is present.

Tooth Mousse contains RECALDENT (CPP-ACP) and is recommended for people of all ages who want extra protection for their teeth.
