Screening prior to your appointment will take place and you will be asked to complete this via sms and upon arrival to confirm COVID-19 safe by confirming the following does not apply

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD:

have flu like symptoms including sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose or have had an upset tummy in the 2 days prior

• have visited a COVID-19 exposure site as per the DHHS website

• have been in close contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19

• are in quarantine or awaiting a COVID-19 test result.

If you or anyone in your household has visited an exposure site, please DO NOT ATTEND. Call the team and we will reschedule your child’s appointment.

ONE CHILD – ONE PARENT
Due to social distancing guidelines please limit the number of people that attend your child’s appointment. Currently, we have a one parent to one-child policy to ensure that the patient has the support of their parent during this time.

If for any reason this is not possible please call the practice to discuss what social distancing options we can put in place for siblings.

For initial consultations, the second parent may wish to call in and listen to the appointment via phone if required.

For infant care tongue tie patients both parents are able to attend appointments.

REMAIN IN YOUR CAR.

The doors to our practices will be locked at all times to limit the density numbers.

Please remain in your car and respond to the SMS with the word HERE via the COVID Safe SMS you will receive 2 hours prior to the appointment upon arrival to let us know you have arrived.

Our team will call you as soon as you are able to enter the premises for your appointment

YOUR APPOINTMENT
Upon arrival, you must observe the strict social distancing rules, we ask that you wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser immediately upon arrival.

You will have your temperature checked and be directed into the surgery or designated waiting area.

For adults masks MUST be worn at all times.

A reminder that without PlayStations, toys, books etc in the practice our practice is not as fun as it usually is.

Colouring in sheets are available but please think ahead and bring in items to keep your child entertained if needed

Kiddies Dental Care is closely monitoring the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The health, safety, and well-being of our team, patients and community is our top priority.

Kiddies Dental Care has a strict covid safe plan in place to ensure the safety of both our patients and our team

We follow strict infection control protocols. The treatments rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each appointment, and all team are using the appropriate PPE.

Environmental cleaning is completed every 2 hours

All clinicians are only working at one location – so you may need to travel if you wish to see your favourite dentist or therapist at their designated practice.

Kiddies Dental Care continues to be directed by all Victorian Department of Health Chief Executive Health Order. The Chief Health Officer COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions (No 4) has announced that all healthcare workers would be required to have been COVID-19 vaccinated by 15th December 2021. The direction requires all staff members in public and private dental practices to be vaccinated, including dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists, oral health therapists, dental therapists, dental prosthetists, dental assistants and receptionists.
