Hi, I am Jamie and I am a Paedriatric Dentist for Kiddies Dental Care.

Qualifications:
I grew up in Malaysia and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery with honours from AIMST University in Malaysia. I then served the government of Malaysia for 3 years in the state of Sarawak, which is part of the beautiful island of Borneo, serving both urban and rural communities, hospitals and schools. Due to my interest in treating children, I then went on to pursue my postgraduate training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Melbourne. During this time, I successfully passed the Australian Dental Council exam and achieved full qualifications as a dentist in Australia.

Working at KDC:
Paediatric dentistry is my passion and I hope to positively impact the lives of each little one I meet, one tooth at a time.

After work, I love to:
Apart from dentistry, I enjoy time spent with my family and friends, and like most other Malaysians, my hobbies include sports such as table tennis and badminton. I also enjoy travelling and I hope to continue exploring this amazing land down under. I am excited to meet you and care for your little ones at Kiddies Dental Care.

My name is Kay Parmeshwan and I’m an Oral Health Therapist. I graduated in 2016 and have mostly practiced in rural and regional areas of NSW. More recently I have moved back to Victoria and currently work in various private practices around Melbourne, providing dental care for mostly children and young adults.

Qualifications:
In 2013 I graduated from a Bachelor’s in Biomedicine and undertook research programs investigating better outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.  In 2014, my passion for science led me to an interest in oral health care for patients in regional Australia. I was able to pursue this in my degree at Charles Sturt University; practicing in areas such as Bathurst, Albury, Dubbo and Wagga Wagga.

Working at KDC:
I have been working at Kiddies Dental Care for just over a year and what an outstanding year it has been.  Providing care for children in such a positive environment has been very rewarding. I am thankful for our patients and parents along with my colleagues who work together to make Kiddies Dental Care such a wonderful place to be.

After work I love to:
When I’m not fixing teeth I’m out exploring. Long hikes, good views and comfort food are my ideas of a great weekend!
